How much does it cost to hire a personal injury attorney? We believe in our ability to be successful for our clients. That's why we handle all of our cases on a contingency fee basis, which means you do not have to pay anything out of your pocket as the attorney only receives compensation if a settlement or judgment is reached. If the case isn’t successful, the attorney does not make any money, and you owe nothing.

Should I handle an injury claim myself? Definitely not! The insurance company will try to get you to accept a settlement quickly as if they are doing you a favor, but all they are truly doing is attempting to save themselves money. Having a skilled attorney representing you may increase your compensation by multiple times!

Can any attorney represent me, or do I need an attorney that focuses solely on personal injury law? You would not seek guidance from a hand surgeon for your brain injury, nor a cardiologist for your dental needs. Finding an attorney who only practices personal injury law is an important first step to make sure you have someone in your corner with experience.

Who pays my current medical bills, and how will my future medical bills be paid? The insurance of the person who hurt you and caused your injuries, and we fight to make sure they pay all of your current and future medical bills as well as all the additional compensation you may be entitled to!

Who can bring a wrongful death claim? While this differs from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, in general, the heirs of the deceased can and should bring a wrongful death claim. Heirs are usually the spouse, children, and in some instances, even the parents of the deceased.

How long will this process last? In some cases, hundreds of thousands or even millions can be obtained in weeks with the right attorney. However, some claims require years of fighting to obtain appropriate compensation.

How soon do I need to call an attorney? It’s very important for the person injured in a motor vehicle accident to contact an attorney as quickly as they can. The general guideline is within a week or two. It’s important to discuss the details of the accident while it’s still fresh in your mind, preserve evidence, launch an independent investigation, arrange for the appropriate medical care and secure funds to pay for that care and lost wages from missing your job.
